Christopher Knowlton is a retired investment manager. Prior to moving to Jackson, he was the President of Knowlton Brothers, Inc., a New York City based money management firm that focused on investing in emerging technology and medical companies. Chris is also a former staff writer and London Bureau Chief for FORTUNE Magazine, where he wrote feature length stories on a wide range of international business and economic topics. A graduate of Harvard College, he has served on the board and chaired the Finance Committee of a number of non-profits, including that of the 100-year-old Foundation for Child Development, which works to improve public school education in the U.S. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History, where he chairs the Investment Committee. He and his wife Pippa are avid birders, a hobby that has taken them all over the world.
