Caitlin was born and raised in the rolling hills of central Kentucky. Spending her weekends with her dad and two sisters in The Red River Gorge of Daniel Boone National Forest, she found great appreciation for the outdoors and a passion for conservation. After graduating from the University of Louisville with a Bachelors in Fine Arts, Caitlin backpacked on the Appalachian Trail, worked in Antarctica, traveled in New Zealand, and spent last summer road-tripping across the US. On that trip she stopped in Jackson and decided she would come back to stay. She spent the winter of 2016 as an AmeriCorps intern with local non-profit, Teton Literacy Center. There she developed the tools and the passion for educating, along with a deep appreciation for the community of Jackson. Caitlin feels as if her journey into outdoor education is just beginning and is so excited to be at Teton Raptor Center.
