This male American Kestrel was found in Teton, ID unable to fly. After arriving at Teton Raptor Center, X-rays helped us to determine that he sustained a humerus fracture in his left wing.
Date Admitted: 5.14.17
Location Found: Teton, Idaho
Update: This kestrel's humerus fracture was well aligned, making surgery a practical choice. A pin was surgically implanted to promote proper healing of the fracture. The pin was recently removed, and we are now performing physical therapy on the left wing at least 3 times a week to maintain full functionality of the wing.Donate Now!
