This Golden Eagle was admitted to Teton Raptor Center as a result of a fractured humerus in the birds left wing. In order to allow the bone to heal correctly, this bird is currently in a wing wrap to ensure the injured region is immobilized and can continue to heal in a stable environment. The bird gets anesthetized every other day in order for it to undergo a series of physical therapy stretches so that its muscles and joints don't get tight for when it will be able to begin flight conditioning.
