This Great Horned Owl was hit by a car near Freedom, Wyoming. Upon arriving at our clinic, we quickly determined that she had a fractured ulna, making it impossible for her to fly. We also noticed that two of her toes had old, previously healed fractures.

Update: A surgical pin was successfully inserted into the fractured ulna, and the bird is doing well! Regular physical therapy sessions are helping the injured wing maintain its full range of motion.
