TRC Ambassadors are volunteers who provide key support to our daily operations. Your help is needed to allow us to grow and provide services and programs to both human and raptor populations. Our goal in developing our volunteer program is to provide rewarding learning opportunities and experiences that advance raptor conservation through education, research, and rehabilitation.
Some opportunities, mainly those related to caring for birds of prey, require both a one-year commitment on the part of the volunteer and completion of a required two-hour training course, which is taught at Teton Raptor Center. This class is meant to be a broad introduction to several topics relating to the service we provide to the community and the raptors we aim to help.
Other opportunities, including transporting injured birds and helping with office work, do not require a minimum time commitment. Whatever your skills and schedule, there's a place for you on the TRC team!
