Steve Poole Vice-Chair

Steve loves the outdoors and interactions with all things wild. Born and raised in the Detroit Michigan area, Steve learned the trades of custom homebuilding and automobile assembly. Motown instilled in him a love for live music and a passion for ice hockey. Albion college bestowed on him a degree in economics and management but fine art became a lifelong pursuit. Steve was employed by St. John’s Medical Center as an accountant, and he has served Teton County for over 30 years in emergency medical services. Steve’s wife, Carol, and daughter, Emily, both volunteer for TRC and have a commitment to wildlife conservation. The TRC goal to educate about conservation through the interaction with wildlife is the work that drew Steve to the center.
