Jonathan fostered his love and curiosity towards the natural world in the Appalachian oak forests of southeastern Pennsylvania. He graduated with a B.S. in Conservation Biology and Biodiversity from the Rubenstein School at the University of Vermont. Jonathan taught natural history and ecology and facilitated student research at the High Mountain Institute in Leadville CO, and at Teton Science School before joining the Raptor Center team. Jonathan is an avid guitarist, runner/cyclist, and photographer, and enjoys anything to do with hiking, travelling, and the outdoors. He cannot wait to share his passion for birds and conservation, and to continue his time here in the Tetons.
