She grew up with animals as her playmates\, and was never without a couple dogs as her companions. She built forts in rock piles to hang out and observe the marmots\, and she summered in the mountains watching deer and elk. Mary continues to be fascinated with heritage and wildlife\, and she uses her art to carry a message of balanced land and animal conservation. \nMary often explores our connection to nature through artist residencies for national parks and land trusts\, including Bighorn Canyon NRA\, Craters of the Moon Centennial\, and most recently Bears Ears National Monument. She’s an Idaho Master Naturalist and serves on the board of the MK Nature Center. Web: www.mgarnoldart.com Instagram: @mgarnoldart
