Ruby is a female Red-tailed Hawk that was originally treated at a rehabilitation center in California after being struck by a vehicle. After caring for Ruby for some time, it became apparent that she had lost most of her eyesight as a result of head trauma sustained in the collision. Ruby needed a permanent home and was transferred to Teton Raptor Center from California several years ago.
