Great Horned Owl

GHOW 10.11.12 was brought in by one of our staff after a Parks Ranger called it in. The bird was found on the side of the road, wet, and unmotivated to fly away from humans. Upon admit, no major injuries were found, but the bird's demeanor was subdued and passive. After a couple nights in supportive care, we performed a fecal float which came back positive for multiple parasites. The owl is getting supportive care, and being treated for parasites.

Update: The owl is beginning to self feed and is opening its eyes more.
