This female kestrel was hit by a car off of I-80. Thanks to the vets at Uinta Veterinary Hospital in Urie, WY we were able to see X-rays before the bird even arrived at TRC. X-rays showed a fractured Ulna. Treatment currently includes a wing wrap and cage rest in Oxygen until we are able to consult on surgery.
Update: Upon examination by the vet we were advised against surgery and to just stabilize the fracture. We are hoping the fracture will callus in alignment.
