This male kestrel came in after a presumed car strike with a fractured humerus. Treatment is supportive care, and preparation for surgery. The kestrel was brought into our local vet the following day for surgery and pin placement.

Update: Pin placement in the humerus was successful. The bird is standing, and perky only 24 hours post-op. We are still hand feeding and monitoring the wing.
