K2 is a captive-bred, non-native owl. She hatched at the world bird sanctuary in St. Louis, MO in 2004, where she was raised by both humans and her parents. She is considered a dual imprint due to this. She joined the Teton Raptor Center avian ambassador team in March 2015.
