Available: Year-round (1 month or 3 month positions)

Applications: Open until filled. However, with the COVID-19 situation still unclear how that will affect TRC's summer operations, there will be a delay in interviews and filling a position until we know how the situation will develop in the coming week.

The Veterinary Externship is an opportunity to learn about raptor rehabilitation through direct, hands-on work in our raptor rehabilitation clinic. This position is available for both pre-vet students and students in vet school. The season will the dictate the focus of the work. During the busy season (May - September), the majority of time will be spent working directly with the birds in the clinic. TRC does not have a veterinarian on staff but works closing with local veterinarians.
