Welcoming a New Era for Raptor Conservation

Thanks to the generosity and support of those who have supported our capital campaign during the past six years, Teton Raptor Center has been able to:

  • Purchase and conserve 27 acres of critical open space in the heart of downtown Wilson, Wyo.
  • Construct The Roost, TRC’s new resident raptor enclosures
  • Create a state-of-the-art rehabilitation clinic for injured, ill, and orphaned raptors
  • Build a new Flight Barn to accelerate raptor recovery for patients by allowing recovering birds to exercise and build their stamina before returning to the wild
  • Restore the historic Horse Barn to become the home for TRC’s Research and Sporting Lead-Free programs
  • Create a Solar Pavilion for outdoor community raptor programming while reducing the campus’ environmental impact and energy use
  • Undertake the restoration of the iconic Hardeman Barn to become the year-round community and educational space for live raptor conservation programs
Leave a Legacy on Our Flight Path

The Flight Path will be a walkway and entry pathway to TRC’s educational spaces in the Hardeman Barn and the Solar Pavilion.

The opportunity to purchase a paver has now closed. We look forward to sharing our new Flight Path with you in Spring 2024.

In 2017, Teton Raptor Center launched a capital campaign to secure our home and fund major improvements to our campus, transforming it into a center for world-class raptor conservation. Work has been done to restore historic structures, create a dedicated flight chamber for bird rehabilitation and expand facilities for our Avian Ambassadors, among other improvements. In July 2023, TRC completed the capital project and opened the doors to the beautifully restored Moseley/Hardeman Barn.

Moseley/Hardeman Barn Restoration

Restoration and revitalization of the iconic Moseley/Hardeman Barn was the capstone project of Teton Raptor Center’s campus improvements.

This beautiful, historic building is now a home for our inspiring educational programs and for the first time, Teton Raptor Center is able to offer learning opportunities with live raptors on our campus year-round.

This short video tells the Hardeman Barn’s story and shares our plans for its future.
