Welcoming a New Era for Raptor Conservation

Thanks to the generosity and support of those who have supported our capital campaign during the past six years, Teton Raptor Center has been able to:

  • Purchase and conserve 27 acres of critical open space in the heart of downtown Wilson, Wyo.
  • Construct The Roost, TRC’s new resident raptor enclosures
  • Create a state-of-the-art rehabilitation clinic for injured, ill, and orphaned raptors
  • Build a new Flight Barn to accelerate raptor recovery for patients by allowing recovering birds to exercise and build their stamina before returning to the wild
  • Restore the historic Horse Barn to become the home for TRC’s Research and Sporting Lead-Free programs
  • Create a Solar Pavilion for outdoor community raptor programming while reducing the campus’ environmental impact and energy use
  • Undertake the restoration of the iconic Hardeman Barn to become the year-round community and educational space for live raptor conservation programs
Leave a Legacy on Our Flight Path

You can have a permanent legacy for raptor conservation by sponsoring an engraved paver on the Teton Raptor Center Flight Path. The Flight Path will be a walkway and entry pathway to TRC’s educational spaces in the Hardeman Barn and the Solar Pavilion. Pavers are available in two sizes and may be sponsored in honor or memory of friends, family members and loved ones, including beloved members of the avian community.

Sponsorships are $250 for a small paver (6×9″) and $500 for a large paver (9×9″).

The opportunity to purchase a paver will run through December 31, 2023. The pavers will be installed in the spring of 2024.

If you have questions about sponsoring a paver, please call 307-203-2551. Thank you!

In 2017, Teton Raptor Center launched a capital campaign to secure our home and fund major improvements to our campus, transforming it into a center for world-class raptor conservation. Work has been done to restore historic structures, create a dedicated flight chamber for bird rehabilitation and expand facilities for our Avian Ambassadors, among other improvements.

If you have questions or would like to learn more about supporting this effort, please email Amy McCarthy, Executive Director at [email protected] or call 307-203-2551. Thank you!

Amount Raised to Meet Challenge:

Two generous families stepped up to create a $500,000 dollar-for-dollar challenge opportunity to help Teton Raptor Center raise the final $1 million of our $12 million campaign in the span of three months. On March 31st, with the support of dozens of donors, TRC soared past the finish line and achieved the match!

Moseley/Hardeman Barn Restoration

Restoration and revitalization of the iconic Moseley/Hardeman Barn is the capstone project of Teton Raptor Center’s campus improvements.

This beautiful, historic building will soon be a home for our inspiring educational programs and for the first time, Teton Raptor Center will be able to offer learning opportunities with live raptors on our campus year-round.

This short video tells the Hardeman Barn’s story and shares our plans for its future.
