Each year Teton Raptor Center’s education team – dedicated staff, volunteers and resident raptors – present about 400 live programs to more than 30,000 people. Raptor Encounters, Classroom Programs and other educational events introduce the public to birds of prey in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Our resident raptors – previously injured birds who are unable to return to the wild — are given a new role as teachers, demonstrating the unique characteristics of raptors and the vital role they play in the environment.
The TRC education team offers raptor encounters at our campus in Wilson, Wyoming, in various private settings, and in classrooms around the region. Learn more about our programs and make plans to meet our resident raptors.
