Free “Winged Wednesdays” Launch

Join us for the kickoff of our FREE monthly educational program in 2024, Winged Wednesdays, held at TRC’s beautifully restored Moseley/Hardeman Barn. Expert presentations cover a variety of avian topics, followed by hands-on learning in our new Learning Lab. Each session explores different themes, from our research projects to avian rehabilitation, backyard conservation, migration, and raptor identification. Tailored for adults, the inaugural event on January 10th, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm, features TRC’s Research Director, Bryan Bedrosian, discussing bird conservation research. If you didn’t catch Bryan’s presentation during our Talon Talk series this summer, this is a great opportunity to learn more about the details of TRC’s ongoing research projects. This interactive presentation includes details on the tools of wildlife science, the discoveries being uncovered, and how this research leads to direct conservation action. Don’t miss this chance to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of avian knowledge and contribute to conservation efforts.

Winged Wednesdays are FREE, but reservations are required. The January program is made possible by the generosity of our Old Bill’s Fun Run donors.

Upcoming editions include:
