Happy Owl-o-ween!
Spooky season has arrived at Teton Raptor Center and staff and volunteers came together to celebrate by carving pumpkins that were given to the raptors for enrichment. Some of the pumpkins were donated from the Fall Fest, in which Beatrix and Manzana went with staff to teach trick-or-treaters all about raptors. Prepping enrichment can be a community experience and it was wonderful to have so many people get together to be creative and help enrich the birds! While raptors don’t celebrate Halloween, themed enrichment like carved pumpkins can create novel experiences and many of the birds took the time to inspect all of the carvings and explore what was made.
