TRC offers private raptor encounters on our campus or at your location. We also welcome outside groups to host their events in one of our beautiful spaces. See below for more information and find an option that works for your group.
Private Avian Experience at TRC
A 60-minute Avian Experience with up to three raptors, exclusively for your private group of up to 10 people. Raptors are presented on-glove by our knowledgeable educators, where you can view them up-close. This program can be customized to your group’s interests and age range. Program is located in the historic Hardeman Barn on our campus in Wilson, Wyoming and must be scheduled 48 hours in advance.

Private Behind-the-Scenes: Training Tour
Discover the world of raptors and their significance! Join us for a 75 minute program behind the scenes to understand the training and care involved in managing a diverse team of avian ambassadors. Delve into the science of training and welfare, witnessing daily enrichment and training routines in the Roost, where our education birds reside. While the birds free fly, there is no physical contact with the public. This program is for ages 6+. Due to concerns about Avian Influenza, we provide shoe covers upon entry to the Roost.
Availability: Monday through Saturday. Year-round as availability allows.

Private Behind-the-Scenes: Rehabilitation Tour
Get an exclusive look behind the scenes in our rehabilitation clinic and learn about what it takes to keep wild birds wild. Participants will explore the main reasons why birds are admitted to the clinic, view our x-ray machine and use some of our diagnostic tools, then tour through our state-of-the-art clinic. Participants will meet a live bird that was once a patient, and who is unable to return to the wild. 75 minute program.
Availability: Monday through Saturday. October through May only.

Private Program At Your Location
Meet the birds at your location for a unique, arm’s length learning experience at your next special event, including corporate retreats, family reunions, weddings, birthdays, special dinners or other group gatherings at your home or other venue. These 60-minute programs are an opportunity to meet our resident raptors, and must be scheduled in advance.

Private Programs & Events with Extended Facility Use
Let us host you! TRC’s beautiful facilities – including the Hardeman Barn, outdoor pavilion and headquarters conference room – are available for group rentals.
To elevate your experience, your group will be fascinated by an engaging 20-minute program featuring one of our avian ambassadors. A dedicated TRC staff member will be on hand throughout your experience or meeting.
