Teton Raptor Center Celebrates Local Community with 2 Weeks of “Locals’ Appreciation”

Teton Raptor Center (TRC) is kicking off summer with a two-week “Locals’ Appreciation” series honoring the neighbors who support its conservation mission year-round. From June 8–20, residents of Teton County (WY), Teton County (ID), and Lincoln County (WY) are invited to enjoy special discounts, free community events, raffles, and up-close encounters with TRC’s remarkable avian ambassadors.

Throughout the celebration, locals receive:
- 50% off all Raptor Encounter admissions
- 20% off everything in the Nature Shop
- Free raffle entry for gift cards, mugs, coffee, and TRC merchandise
- A free gift from the Nature Shop for guests who bike or walk to campus
Summer Raptor Encounters
TRC’s popular Raptor Encounters expand in June and run through September, offering engaging one-hour experiences featuring live avian ambassadors and immersive multimedia presentations on raptor ecology, migration, habitats, and survival adaptations. All programs run 11 a.m.–noon; advance registration is recommended.

Locals’ Appreciation extends beyond TRC’s campus with free opportunities to meet the birds throughout the valley:
- June 9 | 11:30 a.m.–noon — Little Wings Story Time at Teton Raptor Center
- June 10 | 8–10 a.m. — Launch of “Falcon Fuel” at Snake River Roasting Company
- June 11 | 4–5 p.m. — Talons at Trailborn: Meet an Avian Ambassador (400 E. Snow King Ave.)
- June 12 | 4–5 p.m. — Feathered Friday: Meet an Avian Ambassador at The Cloudveil (112 Center Street)
- June 18 | 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. — Flights and Feathers at Jackson Hole Airport
- June 18 | 4–5 p.m. — Talons at Trailborn: Meet an Avian Ambassador (400 E. Snow King Ave.)
Father’s Day — or “Feather’s Day” — Raffle
As Locals’ Appreciation wraps up on Father’s Day weekend, program participants can enter to win a feather-inspired gift basket featuring free program passes, Falcon Fuel coffee, Nature Shop items, and gift certificates from beloved Wilson businesses including Sidecar, Nora’s, and Pearl Street Bagels. Participants who bike or walk to programs will also receive special gifts.

TRC is also excited to launch its new partnership with Snake River Roasting Company, bringing Falcon Fuel coffee to the community and collaborating with neighboring Wilson businesses to kick off a wonderful summer season.
