Join the Team as a Teton Raptor Center Ambassador
TRC Ambassadors are volunteers who provide key support to our daily operations. Ambassadors assist with educational programming, fieldwork, daily care of rehab patients and avian ambassadors, administrative tasks, and more. Our goal is to provide volunteers with rewarding learning opportunities and experiences that advance raptor conservation through education, research, and rehabilitation.

All volunteers are required to attend an orientation prior to beginning work.
Group Volunteer Opportunities
These opportunities are available to businesses, organizations, schools, and more. They vary by the season and by our needs. All participants must sign a liability waiver before participating, which will be emailed to the group leader or contact. Activities may last between 2 and 4 hours depending on the task. All groups will have an opportunity to meet one of our avian ambassadors either before or after service.
Typical projects include:
- Adding/removing sand from enclosures
- Pulling weeds throughout campus
- Washing fleet vehicles (inside and out)
- Assembling furniture
- Gardening
- Organizing program areas
- Deep cleaning bird enclosures and staff buildings
- Picking up micro-trash
Groups will typically need to bring:
- Work gloves
- Sunscreen
- Light jacket or hat
- Snacks or lunch
- Water bottle
