Volunteer Appreciation at Teton Raptor Center
Happy National Volunteer Appreciation Week to all of our wonderful volunteers who support us in so many ways! Since 2010, our dedicated volunteers have contributed over 93,000 hours, providing compassionate care to our patients, supporting educational programs, and conducting vital research. From enhancing enclosures to assisting in clinic procedures and collecting field data, our volunteers play a crucial role in every aspect of keeping wild birds wild.
TRC volunteers extend their impact throughout the region by transporting injured, ill and orphaned birds to our center for care. As part of our Raptor Rescue Network, these volunteers have collectively driven over 68,300 miles since 2016, generously donating over 1,300 hours of drive time. Their commitment ensures that birds in need receive timely care, spanning across Idaho and Wyoming.
We are profoundly grateful for the dedication and hard work of our volunteers. If you share our passion for conservation and wildlife, particularly raptors and corvids, we invite you to join our volunteer team! Attend our upcoming orientation on May 16th from 5-7 pm by contacting [email protected] to reserve your spot.
Additionally, if you volunteer locally, we want to celebrate your community efforts, too. All this week, local volunteers will receive complimentary admission to our Avian Experience program. Just call us at 307.203.2551, let us know where you volunteer, and we’ll reserve your FREE space in an Avian Experience this Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.
