Wild Women of Wildlife Features TRC’s Katherine Gura
Teton Raptor Center’s very own Associate Research Director, Dr. Katherine Gura, was recently featured in the Wild Women of Wildlife film series. The movies feature women who study, advocate for, and manage wildlife in Jackson. Produced for the Jackson Hole Wildlife Foundation’s Being Wild Jackson Hole initiative, the films celebrate and encourage environmental stewardship, both by local residents and visitors to Jackson Hole. View the short film about Katherine here, in which she describes her job as a field ecologist at TRC, what inspired her career in science, and how you can become involved in conservation.
