‘Tis The Season To Give Back To Our Community
ThiThis holiday season, Teton Raptor Center is embracing the joy of giving in heartfelt ways. For the first time, our staff and volunteers created a stunning avian-inspired woodlands Christmas tree for the Soroptimist of Jackson Hole Christmas Tree Festival. The tree was a standout, raising $6,500 to support initiatives for women and girls and earning the event’s third-highest bid!
Continuing a cherished tradition, TRC staff transformed into elves for the local Santa Claus Fund, adopting a family in need and bringing smiles by shopping for special presents and wrapping gifts. We also welcomed the community to our Wild Wings and Holiday Cheer series at the festive Hardeman Barn. Guests meet an Avian Ambassador, enjoy homemade cookies, and craft owl-inspired ornaments. Don’t miss the final event this Thursday, December 12th!
As a team, we celebrated with a cross-country ski outing in Grand Teton National Park, sharing camaraderie and birding. Community, connection, and conservation are at the heart of what we do, and giving back fills us with joy and gratitude this holiday season.
