TRC Celebrates Ambassadors
On Tuesday, January 10th, Teton Raptor Center staff, board members, and volunteers gathered locally at Nora’s Fish Creek Inn for our annual Ambassador Appreciation Night. This was the first in-person celebration since 2019 and it was a fun-filled evening for everyone!
Ambassador Appreciation Night is our way to thank all of our volunteers for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to TRC throughout the previous year. Ambassadors were able to venture down memory lane as a slideshow played throughout the night. Everyone enjoyed a buffet style dinner generously provided by our neighbors at the wonderful Nora’s Fish Creek Inn. After a few games, staff recognized several volunteers with various awards including the Golden Owl and the Ambassador-of-the-Year. Talon Society members were also recognized for donating at least 100 hours of service during a calendar year. We had 17 volunteers join Talon Society in 2022. Also, ambassadors donated nearly 7,000 hours of service between research, education, and rehabilitation!
We are forever grateful for the contributions of each and every volunteer. Their dedication to raptor conservation and to TRC is what keeps up soaring!
