Welcome Our New Interns and Americorps Member
This month Teton Raptor Center welcomes two new interns!
Caroline Cohen is our rehabilitation intern. She graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a B.S. in Wildlife Biology & Conservation. After spending a year in Ohio working at the Glen Helen Raptor Center, Caroline realized that working with raptors was the career path that she wanted to pursue. Caroline feels extremely grateful to be part of the TRC team and is excited to further her passion for raptor rehabilitation.
Jessica Lewis is our education intern. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Management and Conservation from Cal Poly Humboldt. Following an Education internship at the Raptor Education Group Inc. in Wisconsin, her passion for raptor education grew, driven by the profound and meaningful interactions with the local community. She feels honored and privileged to be part of the education team at TRC, where she can continue fostering enthusiasm for raptors and conservation.
This spring we are also hosting an AmeriCorps member in collaboration with Teton Science Schools. Clare Hawkins grew up in Jackson, Mississippi and recently graduated from Sewanee with a degree in Environment and Sustainability. She is supporting the expansion of displays in our learning lab and preparing materials for education programs.
Interested in joining TRC as an intern? We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Social Media Intern to join our team for a 2-month intensive internship, May 15-July 15, 2024. The Social Media Intern will play a crucial role in expanding our online presence, engaging our audience, and promoting our conservation initiatives across various social media platforms. Application window open until March 31, 2024.
