Our Newest Avian Ambassador Is Named!

The votes are in, and we’re thrilled to announce that our newest Avian Ambassador has a name—Cricket! The name “Cricket” comes from their call, which resembles the sound of a cricket, and because crickets are a common prey source for the species. Thank you to everyone who participated by submitting suggestions and casting votes for the top three names for our Burrowing Owl ambassador. TRC is excited to welcome Cricket to the team, and we can’t wait for you to meet them.
