TRC Ambassadors are volunteers who provide key support to our daily operations. There are many opportunities in which TRC could use your help! Our ambassadors assist with daily care of rehab patients, educational programming, fieldwork, administrative tasks, and more! Our goal in developing our volunteer program is to provide rewarding learning opportunities and experiences that advance raptor conservation through education, research, and rehabilitation.
All volunteers are required to attend a volunteer orientation prior to beginning volunteer work. There are 6 orientation training sessions held throughout the year. Orientation dates for 2020 are listed below. The volunteer coordinator will be in touch with those interested for location details as we are closer to the dates. Space is limited -- please email to reserve your spot: email@example.com
Friday, January 10th from 4-5:30 pm
Thursday, March 5th from 4-5:30 pm
Saturday, May 2nd from 1-2:30 pm
Wednesday, July 1st from 4-5:30 pm
Thursday, September 3rd from 4-5:30 pm
Friday, November 6th from 4-5:30 pm
Other opportunities, including transporting injured birds and helping with office work, do not require a minimum time commitment. Whatever your skills and schedule, there's a place for you on the TRC team!
